Sales & Marketing Tools: 

Oncontact provides a number of sales and marketing tools that will assist your sales department in handling day to day business. This particular contact management software allows you to create and manage different campaigns through their application. Each stage and details of the campaign are accessible so at anytime users can get an update of expenses and recent activity. The application stores email templates that are used frequently to respond to general inquiries. We were also pleased with the reports that the software generated and other unique tools offered such as customer surveys, predictive modeling tools, and configuration and tracking abilities.

Ease of Use: 

Oncontact provides an excellent design that is easy to use and navigate. At the top of the application window Oncontact provides a menu bar that has clearly labeled icons for users to access different tools through selecting one of the options: Workplace, Marketing, Reports and Knowledge. Clicking on any of these icons will customize the menu bar on the left side of the application window and display a new set of features, tools and options for the user to take advantage of.

As tools and windows are opened, the CRM solution keeps previously viewed information open in a separate tabbed window. The older windows can be accessed through their appropriate tag heading and closed in like manner. Once you are ready to close any of the single windows, simply click on the “X” in the right-hand corner of the tab and it will close the perspective window. We found this layout and design unique to this particular contact management software and we were thrilled with its ease and functionality.

Once a company or single client is selected from the CRM software database their personal information page will be opened in the user interface. A dropdown menu will allow you to access information from one of the following categories: Activities, Opportunity Profile, Notes, Milestones, Sales Orders and Attachments. The CRM solution makes accessing a client’s information very convenient. With the capability to have many windows open at a single time to show information from the dropdown menu, it is easy to click back and forth and be prepared for any meeting or proposal you have set.

We appreciated the ease of the application and the direct results you get from each of the options available, which is why this contact management software scored a perfect 4.0 in the Ease of Use rankings. Without any instruction we were able to select tools and begin using them because of the simplicity of the design and the clear labels Oncontact created for each option.

Help & Support: 

Before purchasing the contact management software you can access a live or online demo of the application from the Oncontact website. If you select to have a live demo, you will be required to fill out a form with name, contact information and business details. We found that within 24 to 48 business hours an Oncontact representative will contact you regarding your request. For an online demo, you can simply click on the link and the six-minute demo will begin.

This contact management software has a section on their website called, “CRM White Papers.” The CRM White Papers are resources that Oncontact has compiled for you, the user. They currently provide 17 articles that range from topics of “How to Convince Your CEO That CRM Will Improve Your Company’s Revenues” to “What Makes Your Products Special?” You simply select the documents you are interested in, fill out your contact information and wait for a customer support representative to contact you.

Each time we contacted their customer support department we were greeted by a representative who was very knowledgeable in the application and was able to answer our questions and guide us accordingly. We were thrilled not only with the options for support but with thespeed and quality of the support as well. We provided Oncontact with a perfect score in Help & Support because of the excellent customer support we received each time we contacted them with a question or concern.

For companies that select Oncontact Hosted CRM software, the maintenance fees are included in the monthly charge. All updates can automatically be applied to your account so you can rest assured that you always have the most up-to-date and current version. For companies that select Oncontact On-premise CRM software there is an annual maintenance fee charged per user. We found this fee comparable to other companies offering the same number of features and tools.

Summary:
