Learning and Managing Oncontact CRM 6.0

This course is an overview of current Oncontact CRM 6.0 functionality and covers complete system administration responsibilities. Perfect for a system administrator who is NOT a developer.

 

Oncontact CRM 6.0 Query Builder & Mail Merge

This one-day course covers using existing queries and how they are set up for individual users and groups of users. Students will then learn how to build several queries, including the use of lookups and formonly columns. Students will develop a navigation tree and attach it to a query. Newly-developed queries will be added to the Select Search menu and the Select Query window. Students will build and use a new query group and learn about the Marketing Builder window. They will also learn how to set up a mail merge document.

 

Oncontact CRM 6.0 Developer

This course covers Oncontact CRM 6.0 architecture and the data model, and an overview of the Customizer tool, including control properties, get items and query data using C#. Students will learn important Customizer considerations as they begin building a simple header window. They will also modify a header/detail window with exercises including the addition of drop-down columns, toolbar menu and buttons, right-click menu, lookups, formonly columns, RTF notepad, build a zoom window to return data or enter a new record, and the addition of a detail form. There are additional exercises for adding a TreeView and some of its variations. Also, they will learn how to send an automatic e-mail based off user interaction. After a technical overview of the Navigator tool, students will edit agents in direct edit mode and will override the standard methods of an inherited base agent with their own custom methods, as well as create new methods. They will write conditional highlighting agents, enforce primary agents and then enforce these agents per group. Students learn to debug code they have written. Students will also learn how to incorporate reports.

 

Oncontact CRM 6.0 Project Management

This course covers planning a project and determining the codes and structure necessary to manage the project. Students will use the Project and Task Time Billing module provided with Oncontact CRM 6.0 to set up a sample project. They will assign users to various aspects of the project and then record time against the project. Students will then work through the approval, adjustment and billing processes. They will also use the various dashboards to manage the project.

 

 Oncontact CRM 6.0 Import

This course covers using existing import programs and how they are set up. Students will learn about the setups available for different import data sources and how to develop an Import Map. They will analyze the import data and set up the columns and properties of the Data Source. Students will then determine the properties of the import process and map the import data to ONCV tables and columns. They will attach pre-defined agents to the import setup, and will discuss agent logics such as deduplication process, parsing contact full name and parsing full phone number.

 

Oncontact CRM 6.0 Sync

This course begins with an overview of sync architecture and the options available in Oncontact CRM 6.0. It covers how to add transport types, clients, publications, and run the admin process against a database to generate sync support procedures and triggers. Students will create a blank template database and a client database. They will verify that the sync process is working correctly by creating sync packets and passing data between the host and client databases. Additional topics covered: Remote Tasks, Sync Dashboard, Exclusion Tables and Using Windows Scheduler to automate.
